Thank you for shopping with Preston Industrial Plastics. We are committed to delivering your order quickly, safely, and reliably. Please read the policy below for information about how we handle shipping and delivery.


1. Order Processing

  • All orders are processed within 2–3 business days (Monday–Friday), excluding public holidays.
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT may be processed the next working day.
  • Once dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with delivery and tracking details, where applicable.

2. Couriers We Use

We use a range of trusted delivery partners to ensure the best possible service:

  • Royal Mail
  • DX
  • Parcelforce
  • Our own delivery vehicles for local and trade deliveries

The courier used will depend on the size, weight, value, and destination of your order. We aim to choose the most efficient and reliable option available at the time of dispatch.


3. Shipping Rates & Estimated Delivery Times

Carriage charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Shipping costs are determined based on the delivery location, size and weight of the order, and the courier service selected (which may include Royal Mail, DX, Parcelforce, or our own delivery vehicles).

We aim to use the most efficient and cost-effective delivery method available for your order.

You will be able to view the final shipping cost before completing your purchase.

Please note: Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays or factors beyond our control.


4. Local Pickup (If Applicable)


  • You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.
  • Collection hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Pickup address: Preston Industrial Plastics, Aqueduct Street, Preston, PR1 7JQ

5. International Shipping

We ship internationally to selected destinations. Please be aware:

  • Import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.
  • Delivery times may be affected by customs processing times in your country.

6. Delays or Delivery Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier disruptions
  • Customs processing
  • Incorrect or incomplete address details
  • Weather events or other forces beyond our control

7. Address Accuracy

Please ensure that your shipping address is correct before completing your order. Orders shipped to incorrect addresses are not eligible for free replacement.


8. Lost, Damaged, or Missing Deliveries

If your order:

  • Arrives damaged: Contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order number.
  • Is lost or missing: Let us know as soon as possible, and we will investigate with the courier.

We will always do our best to resolve issues fairly and efficiently.
